Vintage fun in Devizes

A quick report on a lovely Bazaar and a big thank you to all of my customers who made the event so delightful and to the organisers who made it such a success.

It was a first time visit for me to Devizes and one that I really enjoyed.  I must go back for a social visit soon.

I met lovely people who were thrilled with the special things they bought from me and I was so pleased to hear the stories that many of them had to tell me.

I sold the beautiful crib I had acquired recently.  It was in immaculate condition and it went to a lovely family - baby due to arrive in May.

Another customer bought loads of my hats and all my French vintage frocks were sold.  Its a good job I'm going back to France in the summer to search for more.

The lovely tapestry pictures with the motto LOVE IS ENOUGH was bought by a recently widowed lady, she was really touched by it.  Lots of my vintage linen was bought as well and what was so lovely was that it was bought by people who really appreciated the hard work that had gone into creating these beautifully worked pieces.

I must admit that by the end of the day we were all feeling a little like this teddy bear (crazy tired but still smiling). All in all it was a truly lovely experience and I met so many wonderful people.  I can't wait to return to Devizes.  I just need to rush around the country now to find some more exciting buys.
